‘A Discovery of Learning through a Vibrant, Happy and Creative Environment’
Miss Wakley – Class Teacher
Miss Aspery – TA
Owl Class is an exciting and fun place to learn. We will learn through a wide range of engaging topics this year.
Outdoor learning will be on a Monday. Please can I ask for waterproof trousers and wellies to be in school during the week.
Reading is a very important part of your child’s education. We ask that you hear your child read a few pages of their reading book every night. This will benefit not only their reading but greatly impacts on their language and writing as well.
PE will be on a Tuesday and Wednesday during the Spring term and therefore we ask that your child has the correct kit in school every week. If your child has long hair, please ensure that it is tied up for PE.
Homework is chosen to reinforce what has been learned in the classroom during the week. Children will receive homework on a Thursday and it is to be handed in the following Tuesday.
I will take much pleasure in teaching Owls and seeing your child blossom and grow throughout the year. If at any point you have any concerns or would like to speak to me, please do not hesitate to see me after school or make an appointment in the office.
