2018/19

Miss Bowden sent out a questionnaire at the end of September to see what Sports the children are enjoying/have enjoyed over the last few years.. From this, we can plan what sports the children would like to do next term and in the Summer Term. From the graphs, we can also see if the children are enjoying the active lunchtimes that Mrs Dinnis has implemented and what things they enjoy doing.  Here are the results from the questionnaires.

2016/17

Miss Bowden sent out a questionnaire to find out what the children think of the PE provision at Lewannick School. It will also help when planning for the following terms and will give Miss Bowden an idea of what PE sessions the children would like to take part in.

It is fantastic to see that 97% of the children enjoy physical lunchtimes. The children that said no, stated that they preferred to spend time in the den or playing with Fox Class. Miss Bowden and Mrs Dinnis analysed and will ensure that at lunchtimes, the sports that the children have said they would like to do will be on offer from January.

Here are the findings from the pupil PE Questionnaire that Miss Bowden sent out in Autumn 2017.

Here are the findings from the pupil PE Questionnaire that Miss Bowden sent out in October 2016.

The purpose of this questionnaire was to find out what the children thought of their PE education at Lewannick School.  It was also a chance to find out what type of sport they like to do/don’t like to do. Miss Bowden looked at this data and with the Sports Council we decided what sporting activities we would like to happen within our school.  We decided to carry on with Plymouth Argyle and to have another half term of Yoga due to the fact that the children really enjoy it.  Miss Bowden will meet with the Sports Council in the spring and summer terms to find out how they would like to spend the Sports Premium funds.
