Years 5 and 6 have just returned from a fantastic week long residential in Penzance.
Day 1 saw us travel to Penzance. We played on the beach at Marazion, before walking across the causeway to St Michael’s Mount. We then played in the park and also had a game of netball.
On Tuesday, we went to St Ives and visited the Tate Gallery. We had lunch at the beach, and then spent some time at the Barbara Hepworth Memorial Garden.
On Wednesday, we spent the day at the Flambards theme park in Helston, and then had a talent show at the hostel.
On Thursday, we visited Geevor Tin Mine, followed by a walk to Crown Mine.
Finally on Friday, we went the Minack Theatre for a workshop to prepare for the upcoming production of Alice in Wonderland. We finished with lunch on the adjacent Porthcurno beach, before returning at school, tired but happy!
