Wow! What an incredible nights stay we had at the Eden Project for our first ever Year 2 and 3 residential. The children had such an amazing time and we are so proud of each and every one of them.
On the Thursday, the children took part in a chocology workshop, explored the biomes and the grounds at Eden and in the evening, they participated in a secret biome! It was such an incredible experience as it was dark and members of the public had gone home! We had the biomes to ourselves! Rosie taught us new songs to sing and we were singing them at the top of our voices!!! We even went on the cloud bridge, played musical instruments and played a variety of games including blindfolding each other!!
We then stayed in the YHA overnight! For many of us, this was the first time we had stayed away from home!!
On Friday, we went ice skating!! It was so much fun!! After lunch, we made our way back to school. We were all extremely tired but we had such an amazing experience. Miss Bowden would like to thank not only the children for being so amazing but also Mr Fugill, Mrs Dinnis, Mrs Maynard, Mr Sparks and Mrs Roseveare for assisting and making this trip possible!
